Barb you are 100% right. It absolutely has been used in a negative way to describe a black person-at least here in the south. Many fights have taken place over that specific term I know for a fact.

Chris, no offense taken -as far as I can see. Most knew exactly what you meant, and since you were in the dark about the term, Barb and Donald were just filling you in.
....Now back to our regularly scheduled discussions.
