Date Posted: Friday, December 07, 04:09:39pm I remember we were in new Zealand new years eve ,we were in littlehampton and the police came into this pub and demanded all the crew from the British holly to return to the ship. We had know idea why we were in our own time ,the police said there was a bomb on the ship ans as it was a tanker we were going to be put on board and we were going to sail out of port while the holly was searched for this !bomb" we sailed and we had around 30 police on board ,they found nothing so we partied on board and that is how we celebrate the new year. we found out that the girls we had palled up with had phoned the police and they expected us to stay in the town for the new years celebrations ,it was not to be as we were a tanked all crew had to be onboard to check for the device . any body out there remember this .
