Date Posted: Saturday, April 26, 02:25:01pm Ok, so whats the smell/stink thats stuck in your minds ? On all the different ships you sailed on ONE must have been remembered the most. Despite the smell on crude oil tankers etc etc, mine was the "BEAVEROAK" a converted cargo ship to a container ship, the smell was the the soap supplied called "ASTRAL" and it was highly perfumed, all of us supposed hairy arsed AB,s were walking around smelling like Ladies of the night.
