Hasn't Tesco started using barges to ship 1,600,000 litres of wine up the Manchester ship canal each week. They say it will take 50 lorries of the road a week, and save 700,000 miles of haulage journeys on British roads every year. I suppose that's a start, Dennis Thatcher would not be pleased.
