John had one christmas at home during my sailing days. Always at sea never in port. As for serving the crew their christmas dinner this would be impossible for the OFFICERS to do. We would have had to find out who used a spoon to eat turkey and show the leser ranks how to use a knife and fork. It would be entirely below our station.
