Some time ago I asked if anyone had the words to the "Altmark". Thought I would try again.
"Three hundred British seaman, all from the marinte'.About all I can remember.
Think it was a German Cruiser, and was carrying British MN to Germany to be paraded through the streets before interment in camps.
Used to sing it on ships when it was time to 'sing-sing or show your ring.'
Maybe you guys never sailed on ships like that!!!!
