Treyvan- .......go ahead, if it will keep us from getting caught..... ~+~*Treyvan backed up a little as the creatures neared, but all three of his followers began a charge of their own. about half way there, all three of them sprouted wings- Kaia's long, gray reptilian wings that were filled with holed and covered in scales. Kaeyana's were long, brown/red/violet/orange phoenix wings, which shed a few feathers just after they finished forming. the boy that you did not know had long red and black dragon wings. you noted that Treyvan had climbed to the top of the shelter, with his eyes glowing slightly. you made a mental note to stay away from him for a while. you turned back to the Eyerlings as you heard a chorus of screams and shrieks. they all had their own fighting styles, which you hoped dearly never to be on the recieveing end of. Kaia was probably the most basic- if you could call it that. there was a shimmering scythe in her hands, which she was swinging expertly around her- decapitating or disemboweling anything within a given distance- while anything that got through was knocked back into the blade by her wings. Kaeyana's choice of weapon was apparently magic, as she was now hovering over the angel creatures- any quite litterally, melting those that got too close. Any that she could not melt, she killed via long steel spikes that were attached to her arms- you noted that they too were shimmering, as if otherworldly. the boy that you did not know was the one that held your attention, however..... all of the screams seemed to be coming from his general location. everything that got near him simply fell over, writhing and screaming, clawing at their own eyes, and most doing a fine job of disemboweling themselves. there was something odd about that- he didnt look like any kind of psychic or empath, and he didnt look like any kind of mage..... the stone hanging around his neck was glowing faintly, as were his eyes. he was making them kill themselves- you were slightly disturbed by that, though you understood that he was trying to get them to go away. you would have to find out exactly WHAT that boy was, before he became a danger to you. meanwhile, from atop the shelter, Treyvan was buisy warping all of the fallen 'angels' to the outer worlds. you remembered that they were very difficult to kill- and thus were simply being banished after they fell. you noted, also, that the only one that charged after Treyvan simply vanished half way there. after a while, ALL of the 'angels' were just.... gone. you made a mental note to never, EVER, piss any of the Eyerlings off. they then turned to the armies.*~+~ Kaeyana- Treyvan? should we? Treyvan- ......no, but do it anyways. we are out numbered.... and we cant leave these people to fend for themselves- they would be slaughtered. theres just too many..... Kaia- so, is that a yes? Treyvan- yes. ???- ....lets just get this over with.... ~+~*you **wisely** got out of their way at they approached the water to land barrier, and gazed out over the armies. Kaeyana was the first person to make any move- as she took a deep breath and began to hold the note of some song- as loud as she could, and oddly, she sustained it for a very, VERY long time- as apparently, she could not run out of breath while doing what ever it was she was doing. after about 3 seconds, your head fealt like it was going to burst, and you dropped to the ground with your hands over your ears. it didnt help much- about half of the army was doing the same. those not bothered by the high voice, were soon on the ground anyways, clawing at their eyes until they were bleeding. you were thankful that you did not feel that urge. Kaia was the last person to do anything- as she cast some sort of spell, that simply drove them away. they vanished, like the others had, and then there was just.... nothing.... the swamp was as empty and serene as it had been before they came. Treyvan jumped down as the other three returned to the shelter.*~+~ Treyvan- ....they know where we are, and they know that we travel together. Kaeyana- but the army, it wasnt after us- it was after them (pointing to your traveling party) wasnt it? Treyvan- yes- or, more specifically, the Fairy girl. the only ones after the group were those that emerged from the cavern. the rest followed Nai'Ara here. ???- ah, i see..... Treyvan- ....this place is empty now. Kaia- ....we are sorry, Treyvan. it had to be done. Treyvan- i know. ~+~*they all sat back down together, but Treyvan was addressing your group more than his own.*~+~ Treyvan- you know.... there will be more. every mercenary in the general area is going to be trying to get the hide of a Kestrian..... everybody afiliated with Ma'Ar's sister is going to be looking for you, and everybody afiliated with Liam is going to be after Psyke. Kaeyana- what about the White Spirits? Treyvan- they will not come after us for a while, if they know that we are fighting now..... they only attack us when we are refusing to do anything with our power. ???- so, what now?
