George, Joe tells me that Shad won't be running in the river for maybe another week yet but Stripers are running right now.
The fishermen are out in force at Washingtone Lake, though. Joe works out at the lake on weekends and, yesterday and today, it was in the upper 80's so he had about 15 boats full of fishermen out all day.
Did any of you guys ever fish Washington Lake when you were kids growing up in Newburgh? They get some realy nice bass and trout out there......
