In response to your suggestion for splitting classes between straight and gay participants. I have another suggestion. Perhaps, we should hold certain classes with only attractive people. That way I wouldn't have to be confronted with having a do-date with someone who I am not attracted to.

Honestly, try to remember that it is really only about you. Your partner is putting you at effect and in doing that he/she is serving you. You have the ability to create whatever experience you want to in that time. A finger is a finger is a finger. Believe me, I was confronted in my course with the same thing. (You want me to do what with who?). I took a step back and questioned my resistance. In doing so I realized that resistance takes on many forms (men you are not attracted to, men in general, ice-cream sundays, unreturned phone calls). It is not the form that is so important as the fact that you are experiencing resistance. Explore the resistance, not the red herring. It will leader you closer to the truth.
