Subject: "CARWASH REUNION PICS" Author: Mod [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 10:10:48 10/18/13 Fri Despite the gloomy weather, we had a good turnout for the Carwash reunion last night. It was nice hanging out with some real American muscle cars like we used to back in the day. This is the spot we would hang out at before heading out for some race action. Sad to see that the Carwash is now closed down. As well as the conveniance store that was next door where we used to grab some snacks while bench racing. No, we do not condone street racing, but back then there was no track. Give you an idea of how long ago this was. Julio Cantu, had the track for about 17 years. We hung out here before then. Back then the real fast cars were maybe 11 second cars. And if you had a 12 second street car, watch out! It was great reminiscing with friends about the big races from back then. Thanks to everyone that came out last night. And for the record, no, there was absolutely no street racing last night..lol. Here are a few pics from last nights hangout.
