You can make the right body type into a better gymnast but you cannot make a good gymnast have the right body type if it is not naturally not there - this tends to end in anorexia - for what??? Not worth it. Better that those who dont have the body type enjoy the sport and collect as many medals as possible at comps. Dont get hung up on squad - at the end of the day you retire and go on with the rest of your life and nobody cares that you were in squad or not!!!
