Todd Manning was never alive merely because he *was* on paper...if that was the truth of it, he wouldn't have lasted long enough to get a name beyond Frat Boy. Transferring the words on that paper next to the name Todd Manning to someone else never will make him Todd Manning for me, so the thought of any kind of victory involving the character at this point doesn't personally seem worth the brain cells used to contemplate it. Recasting Todd---It's like putting a fine wine label on grape juice and trying to tell me that I just won myself the original, one of a kind, amazingly exquisite and beyond price vintage to have one heck of a party with guaranteed to leave me with the same kick-ass unforgettable experience just because the label says it should be so. Especially when the grape juice is suddenly moved to play the piano. *blink, blink* Fan stuff...I'm not gonna go there except to say that personally, I think everybody who loved Todd Manning has lost...it's just a case of when you feel you did.
