They didn't know what the necklaces power would do to Bree while she was pregnant and they also didn't trust her not to put it on. The jewelry, the gems, it was more then just a normal dragons attraction for her - that necklace was her only tie to her family that she had lost and it would be very difficult for her to not give in and fasten it around her neck if it was within reach of her. His eyes shifted for a moment and he let out a soft breath, his eyes going back to his brother. "I would like for ye to give it to me willingly..." The words were just letting his brother know that he was willing to fight for the necklace if it came down to that but he would rather handle things in a more civilized manner. She was upstairs chatting with Evie and even there she could feel the unsurity and the emotions welling up in her mate. Her brow furrowed gently but she didn't intrude on the conversation between himself and his brother. Instead, she just sent him soothing sensations, like she was there with him, running her hands over his shoulders and chest. She as quietly touching him as if she was right there with him, just trying to offer him some comfort even though she didn't know what for. Biting his lip, his brow furrowed a little and he cleared his throat. "Nothing else will work, Dane. Ye've seen Bree, lad, she can barely get up and down the stairs these days for being so large and Evie couldnae do that. Bree will get the respite of shifting to her natural form but Evie cannae even do that..."
