Of course, Durgan responded promptly, he was nearly always at his brother beck and call. He gave Evie a kiss and told her that he would be back in a moment before heading off to check on Bree. His brow furrowed when he found her crying and he was at a bit of a loss once more, just as the time he had found her crying in the garden. "Och, lassie..." He murmured softly to her, his brow furrowed gently as he sat on the bed next to her. "Yer just overly tired tis all...nay a thing wrong with that." He frowned softly as she blubbered on about how she should kick his ass but how she was so sorry that she bit him and that she was all sorts of mixed up and she missed Dane even if he was an asshole most of the time, she still missed him. He smirked at that, opening up the connection with his brother so he could hear what was being said without Bree knowing. Sure, it was a bit underhanded but he figured Dane deserved to hear what his mate had to say. "Yer just tired, mayhap if I help ye sleep a wee bit..." He was started into silence when a pillow suddenly slammed into his face, leaving him sputtering. "You are not doing any more hocus pocus mojo on me Durgan! I am still mad at you for last night so don't think your off the hook just because we are getting along right now. I just..I just...I don't have anyone else to get along with because I'm all alone..you know?" The tears started falling again, soft little sad whimpers escaping her lips. "Och, lass your breaking my heart..." His voice was soft and pained as he shifted to hold her close, unsure what else he could do for her. They had to figure out someway to make this all easier on her, that was all there was to it.
