I'm of the opposite camp on this one. I don't think they do enough news, weather, traffic. I'd love to see them hire a traffic reporter to do a report inside the traffic reports like they do on other big stations. Right now, they stick to the same 4 roads all day. Pittsburgh has a lot of other important areas to cover that never get a mention. West End Circle, Allegheny River BVD to name just two. But I agree with you that it almost seems like they don't know which format to commit to. Either be a talk station or be more of a news station. The talk clearly wasn't working, especially since the death of Mike Pintek. KQV left a hole that could be filled, especially with a stick the size of KDKA. Sounds like a missed opportunity.
