No doubt it's a stunt, but equally there's no doubt that WAVL is undergoing some sort of format change. The station wouldn't dump its talk show lineup unless its owners at LHTC were intent on dumping the format. And an on-the-hour ID sort of gives a clue: WAVL used to call itself "Apollo-Pittsburgh" but now is "Apollo-Greensburg." It would appear there will be more emphasis on Westmoreland County, whatever the changes. I'd be real surprised if any emphasis will be given to Armstrong County, but that would be nothing new for LHTC.
