He was on 1250 WTAE first, as a tape delayed weekend show. IIRC for six hours on Saturday and again on Sunday, it was a "best of" highlight type show. This was back in 1990-91 time frame IIRC.
Then 1250 picked up his live weekday show which of course was a huge hit. But station management listened to the few manaical complainers and cancelled it.
After KD picked him up thier ratings went through the roof and TAE basically died until Madden's sports show resuscitated the station.
