Sunny days seem to hurt the most
I wear the pain like a heavy coat
I feel you everywhere I go
I see your smile, I see your face
I hear you laughing in the rain
Still can't believe your gone...
It's ain't fair you died to young
Like a story that had just begun
But death tore the pages all away
God knows that I miss you
All the hell that I've been through
Just knowin' no one could take your place
Sometimes I wonder...
Who you'd be today

She had snuck up into her room after she had hit the waterfront for a couple of hours. Over that time she had spent every penny she had to buy Oxycotin from anyone who had it along the strip - which was quite a bit. Sitting on her bed, she had eyed the pills, shifting them into piles, figuring out when she would take them. She looked out the window, biting her lip for a long moment, she thinking about it all before she drank the glass of milk to coat her stomach. Reaching for the second glass, she took the first six pills and then laid back, waiting for a half hour before taking the next twelve, ten minutes later there was another six pills injested just to be sure and within an hour she was in a deep sleep. Her breath slowed down as did her heartbeat and after a few moments of peaceful sleep...the room was silent.

It was getting pretty late in the day and he thought that Lysia was either in bed or had finally made up with Travis. Around three o'clock he finally headed up the stairs and knocked on her door just to see if she was there and she was feeling. "Lysia?" He called out, his brow furrowed before he finally pushed open the door, peeking in. "Lysia?" He questioned again, his brow furrowed. It was good that she was sleeping, she needed the rest but she also needed to eat something. "Honey, you need to get some food..." He stepped to the bed, running his hand over head to push back her hair before he froze, feeling how cold she was. "Lysia?" His voice turned paniced as he turned her over, his hand going to check her pulse. "What the hell..Lysia, baby wake up for me..." He shook her gently, then a little harder before he dropped her form back to the bed, backing away from her with a paniced look and tears welling in his eyes. "No..no..fuck.." He knew she was gone, there was no sense in calling an ambulance, she was cold to the touch. Nearly hyperventilating, he grabbed Lysia's cell and called the one older person he knew he could trust - Travis. When the voicemail picked up, he left a broken message, something like "It's joey...I need you here, now, it's an emergency..oh god..Lysia.." Before he hung up and threw the phone at the wall. Heading back to the bed, he picked up her cold form in his arms, holding and rocking her as his tears fell freely down his cheeks and down onto hers. "Why did you do this baby? Why..." His words were mumbled, broken, a broken man holding the shell of a woman.
