Subject: They are speaking about Mrs. pageants otherwise you would age out of a Miss. That being said, it is still not my place, your place or anyone else's place to tell someone how or what to spend their money on. I have friends who spend an average of $50 a week on Lottery tickets and they have been doing this for years. Do you really think I give a darn what anyone does with their money or how many times they spend their money on the same thing over and over? Seriously, people, it's none of anyone's business but the person doing it and if they can afford to do it repeatedly I sa go for it!

Miss America requires every young lady to pay a Children's Miracle Network fee for every local they compete in and ever state competition. That can add up when you exhaust your supporters after the 3 or 4th pageant. Plus all the wardrobe you are required to wear and purchase for competition. VERY expensive, but they have mom's and dad's to pay. Some of the younger MRS still have mommy and daddy to help them out, especially those who competed as young ladies and never won, but for the most part it is on the family of the woman competing to pay. I agree, 15 times is a bit much (click in)Tried 4 times and have moved on a winner for what I accomplished.10/26/13 Sat
God doesn't judge pageants; a rotating panel of adults do. God is probably busy with more important things than pageants. (NT)smh10/28/13 Mon
