I really think holding two titles at once is in bad taste. I once did an appearancce and there was another woman there (who is well known as a crown chaser) She had about four different sashes and crowns with her. She didn't wear any except to whip out one after the other and have the same photos taken 4 times. Bailey Bounce 05/06/14 Tue

My reign was coming to an end & the pageant I wanted to compete in was 1 month shy of giving up my title. Both directors were ok with it. I won & and HELD 2 TITLES AT THE SAME TIME. OMG, call me a crown chaser, a publicity hog, but niether is true. I held my obligations to both pageants, both directors approved & I did a kick-ass job both titles for a month and a half. Stop judging people & making stuff up that isn't necessarily true. Both of these systems were important to me because of my platform & my age. Didn't want to wait a whole year because of one month separating the 2 systems. Get off your high horses and start minding your own damn business.... 05/06/14 Tue

What the hell are you talking about? I had to sign up & compete just like everyone else. I won based on my performance that day. My obligation to 1 title was coming to an end & I did over 30 hard working appearances for that title not just standing around taking photos with a crown on. I ran full marathons, half marathons & 5ks to raise $$ mostly for women's health & did crazy obstacle courses so don't preach to me hag. Stop judging people you don't know... care about your own life... both directors were fine & I won awards at both pageants for my dedication to women's empowerment -- Mind your own damn business... There are people that sign up WAY before you decided you needed another title. Some of them spent months to prepare and worked just as hard as you did. It is hard to compete with someone that already has the confidence because she is already a titleholder, it is defeating and deflating to others!! That is what I am talking about and if you don't want people IN your business DON'T post your business, not everyone is going to agree with you and they have every right to judge as you are judging me right now! -- Get over yourself, there is always someone in the crowd! Dear MYOB..I did practically the same-a director begged me to do her pageant to practice for another. I did it, won, & then wound up winning the other one near the end of the 1st reign. it doesn't matter how long someone spent to prepare, she who competes best wins.If pageants were limited only to non-titleholders they would go out of business! some pageants are FINE w/using them as practice, if they're not, you sign a no-compete. what's defeating & deflating to others is someone better showing up & that can happen at any time, not just when a girl has won something else -- if you're in a pageant, you should ALREADY have the confidence of a queen, 05/08/14 Thu

this happens all the time. You can't always skip a year or wait it out, sometimes pageant dates overlap. Get permission from both and do both justice. The directors won't hold it against you. I love your post. We're not crown chasers because we enjoy competing. We can't all sit out a year.
