(His eyes moved to Addie's each time she looked over at him and by the third time she looked he arched his brows as if to ask her what the hell she wanted, his mood darkening as each moment, and each woman passed. It was getting on his nerves, and by the time Jailynn sat down he was sitting there with his arms crossed over his chest and his eyes darkly scanning the room.) (He rolled his eyes as Addie informed him that his wee wife was redecorating again.) Do ye have any idea how many ruts have been put in the floor up there from movin that bed around? The blasted thing is solid oak and weighs a ton. (He sighed deeply as he leaned back in his chair, taking whatever rest he could before he was forced to move the bed yet again.) (He smiled at Nellie as she teased Dare, shaking his head a little.) He's a beautiful boy. (He said appreciatively at her words, laughing a little when she corrected herself about the boy being hers. When Jailynn walked in, he coughed under his breath and winced as soon as he realized she had recognized him.. this was not good.) Hiya, Jailynn. (He said under his breath in a pointed tone that had Dare eyeing him specutively.) (As soon as his wife recognized the two men, he looked over at her and frowned.. ) How do ye know Ben? (He asked, looking over at Remy and then back to Jailynn, not sure if he should be happy or upset about that.. the men hadn't mentioned knowing her.. ) (He arched a brow at the woman who apparently knew his partner and frowned at her comment.) I'm a man with a dead dog. (He said pointedly, not willing to sit around and chat with a bunch of happily married woman who would probably just leave these men as soon as they fucked up.)
