(She had slipped from the 'morning after' Courtney into 'kick ass' Courtney without a single thought, almost as soon as she had left the warmth of the other room. It was just that easy for her, being intimate with a man and then working beside him without allowing it to get into the way. Perhaps it was simply because she had resigned herself so well to the fact that men didn't fall for her.. they just fucked her.. and that made it easier to let them go without a thought. With file in hand, she took Skeeter's dismissal and headed back to the girl's room so that she could pick out clothes and get ready for the day ahead.) (He didn't stop glaring at Skeeter the entire time the man was telling his girlfriend how to properly be a prostitute. It wasn't the role she was playing that pissed him off.. though it didn't make him happy either.. it was the fact that she was going to be out there with Courtney for a partner and he was going to have to sit it out. He knew that now, that the others would force him to sit this out, but that didn't make it easier for him to swallow. He insolently ducked his face into her neck as she looked over her paperwork, waiting until Skeeter was done to nuzzle the spot under her ear.) I am only letting you do this because I love you. (He said under his breath, though he knew deep down that he wasn't letting her do anything, he was simply not going to put up a huge stink in front of her. Skeeter and Braden would get the stink instead.)
