(She could tell from watching him that he was a lot deeper in his dreams than she had seem him before.. she'd never seen his expressions so clearly as she did now.. there was surprise, anger and.. determination? She sucked her lower lip between her teeth, wondering what he was dreaming about as he growled and writhed, completely unaware that he was dreaming. It all happened so fast that later she would say that she had had no warning.. but she had seen the subtle shift in his muscles, a sort of calm before the storm.. when really he was tensing to strike. When he grabbed her, she let out a startled cry, caught completely off guard and easy prey. As she found herself pinned beneath him, she realized that she was breathing so rapidly that she couldn't catch her breath and choked on a frightened sob as he growled at her. Trying to focus on anything other than the weight of him, the pressure of his hands on her wrists and the way his throaty growls scared the hell out of her, she took deep slow breaths and was finally able to choke out his name, praying that he woke up.)
