Urgent Prayer Request... One of our pageant sisters, Danielle Silva (2009 Tx Today's Girl, 2009 National Humanitarian Leader) was admitted to Walls Regional in Cleburne on Wednesday with vomitting and internal bleeding from an unknown source. As of now, the doctors still aren't sure what's causing the hemorrhaging and are about to sedate her and go down her throat with a scope to see if they can determine anything. Please place this precious girl and her family on your immediate prayer list. Please pray specifically that the doctors have no complications with the scope as this is a dangerous procedure in and of itself. Also, that they determine with speed and surity what is the cause and treatment. Finally that Danielle and her family will know they are loved and cared for right now since this can be a stressful and scary time. Urgent prayer request: Please pray earnestly for Angela Gamber, mom of Madison Benson, MS Today's Miss Talent winner. Madison competed at nationals this year in the miss division--she was the clogger. Anyway, her mom is currently at UAB Hospital awaiting a liver transplant. This was all completely unexpected--she went in for gallbladder surgery, and the rest is history. She is now at the very top of the list for a transplant. Please pray for her and her entire family. PARADE TIME IS NEAR------The PowWow Parade in Chandler is an annual TG event. THe date is October 10th. The parade starts at 10a.m. Lineup begins at 8:30a.m. Everyone is invited to ride on the float. There is a carnival afterwards. Candy can be thrown at this parade. Please wear reining attire or a nice dress. Crowns and banners need to be worn. Each prelim listed above will be hosting a Teddy Bear Drive for Teddy Bears For Trooper's..15" or larger NEW Teddy Bears will be accepted and you will earn 2 hrs. towards your community service for each New Teddy Bear you donate. 10 signed cards addressed to: Recovering American Soldiers will earn you 1 hr. community service. 5 cans of canned foods will earn you 1 hr. Personal hygeine items for Beautiful Feet Mission will earn 1 hr for 10 items..$10 value donations earn 1 hr. New Stuffed animals 15" or larger for Cook Children's Hospital will earn you 2 hours each..smaller stuffed animals will be accepted...$10 value = 1hr. Tx. I am so excited to announce the 2009 ALabama Today's Girl Queens. The 2009 Alabama Today's Doll Reagan Byrd,the 2009 Alabama Today's Miss Sydney Young, and the 2009 Alabama Today's Junior Summer Allen. These young ladies have worked so hard for their new title and are such a great representative for the State of Alabama and Today's Girl Youth Organization. I would also like to say good bye to my 2008 Alabama Today's Girl Queens, Taylor Harrison the 2008 Alabama Today's Baby and Brooklyn Haigler the 2008 Alabama Today's Doll. This young ladies were wonderful Alabama Queens who represented our organization well. I wish these young ladies the best and hope to see them this next year in our organization. I would like to thank their mothers as well, they made this past year very memorable.
