I did finish DH last night and did see that the members of the sect were killed (i think six to be exact). But also on Page 16 (i think that was the page that the quote was from) his initiation into the sect coincided with the birth of his first son.

I think that it did mention that his son that phoned about the re-apperence of Chole and Dageus from the 16th century was his son whose name was Hugh (dont quote me on that).

So yes it is a possibility that he maybe had another son.

The inner circle of the Order was privvy to the purpose and the prophecy, and I am pretty sure that there are more than 6 in the Order, not to mention the financiers and others around the world.
