- Kris, that's what I'm thinking. If the new Kelter is male, it would be cool for her to be with him! Christopher and Maggie had a set of twins that would be as old as Mac. - The new MacKelter would be an interesting twist, but KMM has spent so much time creating the tension between Mac and JB (and, unfortunately, the Slimy Git V'lane) that I don't believe that it's that high a possibility. thanx for the welcome everyone,
I am just really lucky that all my fav authors have books coming out like every other month so that should keep me buzy for the rest of the year. Does anyone here read sherrilyn kenyon? Because My fav character's 2 books are supposed to be coming out in december and I cant wait for those either because that means she has 3 books coming out this year. Although I love Darkfever all this wondering was driving me nuts. in fact the wondering on all my fav books is driving me nuts. because I buy them and then read them in a couple hours which makes the wait so much longer. *sigh*

I also have my english reading to keep me buzy cause I took English 170: Literature in context(Instructor picks what they want to teach each semester)Goth fiction this semester and were reading Bram Stokers 'Dracula' which will be so awesome as well as The Haunting by Shirley Jackson. Alrighty, for all those who didn't get newsletter/Blood Fever teaser, ignore this. For all those who did - Dang, but can that woman tease or what??? (Serious eye roll with a smile) I'm just going to bet that those two little snippets, are not both referring to JB. Betcha the second is V'lane. Two reasons, first - our girl KMM is tricksy, and would dearly love to have us off on tangent of JB being Fae. Two, in the first one, he calls her Ms. Lane, in the second the gentleman character that remains nameless in the tease calls her MacKayla.

Hi Ladies! First time on here, I've read your messages to each other and you all seem so genuine. You crack me up! I too am a HUGE KMM fan, read all books several times over, and I'm amazed how prejudiced I am toward other authors. I don't want to spend a single dime on their crap, so KMM needs to step it up and clone herself and write at three times the speed. ;-). Seriously, she's an unbelievably prolific writer. Great sense of humor, just really well written novels. How do I join the "group"? Can anyone join?

If so, the first two I would suggest Pamela Clare's Surrender and either Hard Evidence or Extreme Exposure (all three very hot and excellent) or any or Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark Hunter series.         Pamela's books, if you want the romance suspense, I would start with Extreme Exposure and then Hard Evidence. In Hard Evidence, Pamela used some of her own experiences in the book. Surrender, a fantastic historical, will have two sequels later on. As far as Sherrilyn Kenyon's Darkhunter/Werehunter books start with Fantasy Lover then Night Pleasures, Night Embrace, Dance With the Devil, Kiss of the Night, Night Play (Werehunter), Sins of the Night, Seize the Night, Unleash the Night (Werehunter), Dark Side of the Moon, and her newest due out Feb 6, Dream Hunter. That should keep you really busy. They have action, romance, hot sex and good endings. I love all the vamp/were movies like Underworld and the newest Blood and Chocolat (out tonight). I�ve been listing to Dark Fever as I puttered around the house, and just got struck by a new theory. (May be a new theory to just me, and if I�m repeating, sorry) I remember a few weeks back, there was a post wondering if �cute museum boy� was possibly a berserker. I�ve got another thought on what CMB may be. The detail given of him was a bit too specific for me to think he was just a cute boy and part of the scenery. His description was tall, dark, blue eyed, and well built. KMM gave us teaser of Rocky O�Bannion�s nephew coming in the next book. Could it be that CMB is Derek O�Bannion?

AND have also started being very suspicious of V'lane being an Unseelie Prince (their glamour is as beautiful as Seelie with no ugliness to cover).. In the teaser, we were led to believe that Mac makes a bad choice.. Mayhap she chooses to get close to him and it causes her big problems. Gives me shivers just thinking about it!!!

OK, so this is making me giggle, and I have to share. So going back to Karen's post about wanting a Man Sandwich on the cover of Darkfever...

I was at the campus bookstore yesterday, and saw that Darkfever was in the self-help section. Now you're going to be uber proud that my anal-retentive side resisted urge to rearrange the shelves, because it was killing me not to. I mean, seriously...what is Darkfever Self-Help for? Hmmmm How to succeed at beating the Fae without really trying? Or the care and feeding of the Lost Soul Hotties?

OK, so guess who Mac's Man Sandwich was with? I'll give you 100 Bend & Snaps if you can figure it out...

Well, I'm hear in Scotland in the computer lab quickly writing this before heading off to my next class (got here last week, but wasn't sure if I could get to the message board on the computers). I only have classes on Monday and Tuesday and I'm planning and using my extra long weekend to do a bit of traveling. As of yet, I don't have a digital camera but I'm going to look for one soon. Does anybody have any suggestions of where I should visit and what pictures I should take? Once I get the camera I would be happy to e-mail pics to people. I'm currently at Dundee, Scotland where I'm attending Uni. Just wanted to drop a note and say that "I'm still here" Oh ... and that teaser nearly made me go nuts when I finally read it! Good heavens! *crosses fingers for JB* I can't wait to hear more about that kiss!!!! ^_^

Okay I haven't posted any new theory ideas or anything in a while but I was thinking about a few things and wanted some opinions on what others thought.

Why did Jessi's prof. own land in Georgia? He came from Ireland 25 years ago and lived in Chicago, why Georgia? (connect that to DF)

Also in the end when the Queen is ruminating on events she mentions that she has saved the Keltar line 7 times from extinction...Drustan, Dageus and Cian make three plus she mentions the other four...Once in the 17th century she diverted catastrophe by sealing the chamber with the lore, the 20th century catastrophe hadn't happened either for the same reason and two for other reasons.

I'm kind of curious as to what these four mystery catastrophes were and how they were prevented...

And did any of these Druids get thrown forward in time and could they be either of the two we have yet to meet. Her saying that the Keltar are the purest and most potent line of Druid in existance makes me think that the two of the five most powerful druids that ever lived might just be Keltars as well.

Somehow, it feels to me, that the word exschange between JB and Mac in the teaser might be at the very last chapter of the Bloodfever. Seems that Karen wont give us the identity of JB in the next book, but rather have us to speculate about him till the end of the series. What do you think?

Hi everyone!! I mostly lurk here, this is only my 2nd post, but I couldn't be anymore gobsmacked by "Darkfever". I've been singing it's praises everywhere!

Anyway, some of you made reference to a scheduled chat with KMM. I never could figure out how to get to it! And since it's now apparently over, I was wondering if there is a link to the chat transcript around here that I am also missing?

I don't think JB is a vampire...if he leaves in the morning and comes back at night, he has to touch light while in the car at somepoint. She didn't mention his teeth or any resemblence to Mallauce. Dani and I have finished the project!!! You can use it as a background! If you know of a printing place around you (for me its Sir Speedy, staples, etc.) you can burn the file to a disk and take it in to be printed out as a poster!

There is a black strip at the bottom of the image (for your start bar at the bottom of your screen)...but you can cut that off or have them trim/crop it out - or you can if you know how to!

e-mail me, send me a message on MS, or on the KMM board to let me know if you want me to send you an attachment. I need your e-mail address where/how ever you get a hold of me!

Please give me time to send out a mass e-mail or two or three (depending on how many people want a copy). Dani and I are also looking at it to make sure there are no typos or any additions we can make!

Hi Everyone,

I am new to the boards here, and was wondering if I could give my input about JB? Call me crazy but I think the teaser KMM sent out is both from JB. I also think he is part fae and druid. These are the reason why.
1. Maybe I am reading it wrong, but when MacKayla went up against Malluce, he healed part of her wounds. Spoke an old language. Like Cian in Spellbound.

2. JB made a reference to mythical creatures when they found out Mackayla was a null. Fiona then made a comment about it. Again I could be reading to much into it.

3. When JB and Mackayla go to Malluces place, Mackayla made a reference about how JB was going to walk out of this place alive no matter what. There is a couple other references in this paragragh that make me wonder as well.

4. I believe JB used voice on Fiona when Mackayla was eavesdropping. Sound like he could have.

5. The definition from Macs journals of a Druid could fit JB,using the Rocky Obannion meeting as an example. His body was there but not his mind.

6. Also, if he was part Druid this could be why Mac can't see the Fae.

Maybe Mac doesn't find out about the Fae part until the attraction is so deep she can't help herself. And being as stuffy as JB is , there is no way he would keep calling her Ms Lane if they are going together.

Maybe I am grasping, but the suspense is killing me.
