transcriptions?

I'm not sure how all these chats work, I'd like to participate eventually...could someone maybe point me in the right direction on how to become involved in them? Also, is there a way I can get a copy of previous transcriptions to catch up for my big debute?! Haha. Any help would be much appreciated!
