I really like your theories, JT! Keep posting. I agree with you that the jewelry may indicate rank. Gold for a prince, silver & black ??? Love that idea. Yes - Queen Abby turned DArroc into a mere mortal, and at the end of DF, Mac and JB both seem to think that the Lord Master was 'not even Fae' - so there I think you have your answer. He acts like he is Fae, he 'talks the talk,' but he is not Fae. The problem is that he knows all the Fae secrets, and has access to their magical artifacts. He probably uses the mirrors in the house on LaRuhe street to go back and forth between realms, the only person Fae or not, to dare such a trick. I'm sure we'll learn lots more about him in the next book! -- DARKFEVER
