reading Immortal for the 5th or 6th time, i came across this little sentence that may mean something or not. page 283 "Though they'd(Fae)learned to move backward to certain degrees in it,and forward again to their present (though never beyond that: legend held there was only one race that could navigate what was yet to be, but Adam gave little credence to such legends), not even the quenn herself could stop time. Makes one wonder if JB could be a myth himself. He walks around with no fear, even with all those things that go bumb in the night. He is just to secure that nothing will happen to him. any input?

I have been thinking about this awhile. I have decided that Barrons is a Fae. He wears a torque like or similar to Adam's. He hasnt aged. And I think that his longing for the Book is to help him return to his Fae standings. His wings have been clipped for whatever reason. Now I know all of this sounds like Adam. But I dont think he is a Druid. He knows more and can do more than a Druid.
