I think the reference to tattoos in the Bloodfever teaser has to somehow go back to Cian. He used them against "dark magic" Wasn't Cian the only one who used the "runes"? JB tells her he will tattoo her any time and where he wants. What do some of you girls think this means? I think JB has to somehow be tied to Cian and his experiences. My first time on board, I love all the theories (I can't spell just thinking about the books!) I guess I'll have to go back and read between the love scenes:) LOL

I believe the body tattoos are like wards that they put on all their house but it protects the person wearing them from the influences and entrace of dark magic. Cian believed if he had enough of them he would not be swayed or drawn into the 'darkside'...Which we all know he was dooped in the end by being imprisioned in the mirror. Which leads us to believe that yes they offer protection but are not your only means of defense. I think JB is trying to give every bit of protection he can while he grooms her as a Sidhe Seer which I agree his motives are self serving she cant help him if she is taken or dead.
