Poof, Ms Lane?
Subject: One more clue that V'Lane is Unseelie. I'm re-reading Spell, and in the part at the end with Aoibheal's internal reflections she says that 5 years in the future, the Unseelie Princes are once again satisfying their insatiable lust for mortal females - brutally raping, leaving mindless shells. And if this is a reflection on V'Lane (and others) then ... he f&^%king lied! Saying he came from Aoibheal and was concerned about Mac's safety. That he knew she has betrayed herself to one 'or more' Unseelie. i suspect that the Cuff of Cruce would protect her alright, from other Unseelie, but make her the slave of whoever gave her the bracelet. The last thing that troubles me is that JB knows V'Lane, and talked to him about Mac. I guess the only consollation is that when V'Lane talks to Mac in the Museum, he says - we know where you live. But he says it in a way that suggests it is not a place that he would 'go'.

Wow Claudia, I could not agree with you more though! I have been feeling like V'Lane was Unseelie since the beginning. We only have his word that he came from Aoibheel. I just don't trust him. The fae are tricky! -- Cheryle

I am of the camp that thinks Vlane is up to no good, no way is he representing Queen Abby in all this, He wants Mac for lurid activities sexual and otherwise. There is a part of me that would slap that Cuff and be slave for Vlane even if it was short lived but I adore the bad boy types!!!I think Mac has better sense than that and I hope her Seer powers hold her in check when it comes to that Fae.

Lets just say I would be a very willing participant in anything Adam suggested. Adam is my Fav and I would love to spend some time in a secluded place in his world away from Queen Abby's prying eyes!!! *wipes away a lil drool* Anyways back to my previous post...I would like to add the suggestion that if all these other unsavory UnSeelies have made it thru what is stopping the King at this point?? Is Vlane just a guise for what he truely is cuz dont think the King would take kindly with sharing his concubine with anyone Cuff or no Cuff. Lets all remember the effects of the UnSeelie King on Queen Abby ...she couldnt even resist a lil liason with him in "In to the Dreaming" Just throwing it out there to add to the theory stew!!!
