There's this book called <i>Jane's Warlord</i> where the cop is really an alien cop, who shows up to 'protect' Jane, but he seems to have not read the police handbook on how to properly handle suspects (victims in this case), because he handcuffs her, ties her up ... etc - searches her ;-) ;-) , all to fulfill his assignment to protect her from an interstellar murderer. ;-) by angela knight. -- DARKFEVER
