Subject: first time reading a moning book

this is the first time I've read a Karen Moning book. Just picked it up on a whim. NOW I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT ONE. My question is are the books from the Highlander series good. I don't like a lot of romance and/or sex. I can take some, but I like a good story. Where do these books fall?

I am sure some of the other girls on the board have read them more. -- CherDWag, 19:59:49 02/07/07 Wed [1]

It is true that there is sex in the Highlander novels but it might also be helpful to know that there is a lot of background info in the Highlander stories for the Fever series. There is also going to be some character cross over to the Fever series as well. So it might be helpful to read them even if just for that but I don't think you will be disappointed!

If you really, really liked DarkFever, you will just adore the Highlander books. Each is better than the one you read before. In fact I didn't care for DarkFever, thought it was not as good as the previous books. Mac was too dim-witted for my taste. Spell of the Highlander was the best, but Kiss of the Highlander was a very close second.
