Hey, Newbie Here!
Hi,
This is my first time posting to this board. Like everyone else here, I can't wait for Bloodfever to be released! So, I was reading along here, and I was wondering if anyone else made the connection between Darroc and the Lord Master? It could be in the archives, which I just haven't had time to read through yet. Also, does anyone else think Jericho is a vamp? He just seems to be a lot more discreet than Malluce, and that would explain why the shades aren't interested in him?

Hi, Marie! Welcome to the board. Yes, we have put Darroc as the Lord Master. I think the Unseelie King made a deal with him and took him from human form to Unseelie. As far as JB, I think he is part Druid, part Fae since he is or seems to have lived a long time, can jump and appear at od time, and used voice and knew how to repair Mac's body after the fight. Be sure to post on both sides, ok? That way everyone gets to know you!! --

As to JB being a vamp, I don't think so. He himself says he does know what he is. When Adam Black was under the feth fiada, a fae remarked about him that he was not fae but also he was not mortal. Perhaps JB is in the same situation. As to Darroc being human, unlike Adam I don't think the Queen gave him back his soul because he was dealing with Unseelie bring them throgh the portal.

After I wrote that I was thinking, and it really doesn't look like JB is a vamp really, ... what about a half fae like Circinn Brodie? Or maybe if there is more than one half fae out there, maybe he could be like 1/4 fae. I'm pretty new to this, if you can't tell. :) Thanks for the welcome!

Can anyone give me the low down (or a synopsis) of Darkfever? I read it, but because I hadn't read the other books in a while, I didn't really understand what was going on in the book. Okay, I'm an avid Highlander fan, but is it just me or does this new book seem a bit stunted to me? I really need to know the connections between The Lord Master and Darroc (please explain both as I haven't read the books in a while). I also want to say that I really don't like the character Jerricho. I want Mac to go with a fae not have a romance with Jerricho!

In Immortal Darraco was made human by the Queen and has Copper colored hair and in Darkfever the Lord Master is not fae and has Copper Color hair. So therefore the majority of us have drawn the conclusion that Darroc is the Lord Master. Yeah, we have a lot of Jericho theories around here. If anything, I think that's the thing we talk about most LOL Darroc & the lord master connection has been discussed several times.
