I don't why I thought of this after reading the Bloodfever teaser but I think that V'lane is Unseelie because if you look at the names we have for the Seelie so far They are all one word names Darroc, Aoibheal, Amaden, Mael, Aine. Only V'lane's name is different. I think this a clue as to who he really is because he is not a good guy. If you think about it if the Unseelie had Mac on their side they could do a ton of damage to the Seelie court.
On another note i think that JB Cares a lot more for Mac then he is letting because in the BF teaser he destroys his shop and her room after finding out she is not there. you don't Destroy someones room unless you care deeply for them cause if JB really didnt give a fudge he wouldn't care where she is or what she was doing and he certainly wouldn't have trashed his shop when he found out she was gone.
