Subject: More on the tease

Somehow, it feels to me, that the word exschange between JB and Mac in the teaser might be at the very last chapter of the Bloodfever. Seems that Karen wont give us the identity of JB in the next book, but rather have us to speculate about him till the end of the series. What do you think?
