Subject: Who is JB really?

Hi Everyone,

I am new to the boards here, and was wondering if I could give my input about JB? Call me crazy but I think the teaser KMM sent out is both from JB. I also think he is part fae and druid. These are the reason why.
1. Maybe I am reading it wrong, but when MacKayla went up against Malluce, he healed part of her wounds. Spoke an old language. Like Cian in Spellbound.

2. JB made a reference to mythical creatures when they found out Mackayla was a null. Fiona then made a comment about it. Again I could be reading to much into it.

3. When JB and Mackayla go to Malluces place, Mackayla made a reference about how JB was going to walk out of this place alive no matter what. There is a couple other references in this paragragh that make me wonder as well.

4. I believe JB used voice on Fiona when Mackayla was eavesdropping. Sound like he could have.

5. The definition from Macs journals of a Druid could fit JB,using the Rocky Obannion meeting as an example. His body was there but not his mind.

6. Also, if he was part Druid this could be why Mac can't see the Fae.

Maybe Mac doesn't find out about the Fae part until the attraction is so deep she can't help herself. And being as stuffy as JB is , there is no way he would keep calling her Ms Lane if they are going together.

Maybe I am grasping, but the suspense is killing me.

Thanks for listening and would love to hear everyone elses theroies.

I too am anxious to find out who JB is and also think the teasers are both JB. The part about the Druid and Fae is a good idea or he could be full Druid or full Fae but be a high enough fae that with Mac's minimal powers at this time and the fact that she is still fighting them she may not be able to detect at this point. JB's skin color and the way she feels a type of electrical charge when she is around him, and his strength. He may even be one of the last 2 druid's the Queen is refering to at the end of Spell. I guess we will all just have to speculate and go crazy until August, but man I wish Karen would put it out a little earlier.

I believe you're right, and he's at least partly Druid--he also has a tendancy to "read Mac's thoughts" right off her face, while I suspect he's actually Deep-Listening, as Cian tried to do to Jessi in Spell.

I think JB is part Fae and because he wears a torque and the wrist band like Adam but a different color. I believe this identifies the house he belongs to. I believe Jericho is also part vampire and a very old one at that. While he was in O'Bannion's office Jericho seemed to be occupied elsewhere. This could have seem to be because the religious artifacts could have been draining his strength. JB is very strong and moves very fast and he doesn't appear to eat. When JB broke into the O'Bannion's vault he wouldn't touch anything and after etting Mac in he would re-enter the vault and wouldn't handle the Spear of Luisne. Even though JB finished off the Gray Man he only touch the part of the spear covered in foil. JB called Dublin his city. I'm assuming that this is his territory to protect for the Seelie. I also believe that JB feeds off of Fiona and she watches over things for him during the day. I'm waiting for the release of Bloodfever in August.
