Subject: thanx for the Welcome

thanx for the welcome everyone,
I am just really lucky that all my fav authors have books coming out like every other month so that should keep me buzy for the rest of the year. Does anyone here read sherrilyn kenyon? Because My fav character's 2 books are supposed to be coming out in december and I cant wait for those either because that means she has 3 books coming out this year. Although I love Darkfever all this wondering was driving me nuts. in fact the wondering on all my fav books is driving me nuts. because I buy them and then read them in a couple hours which makes the wait so much longer. *sigh*

I also have my english reading to keep me buzy cause I took English 170: Literature in context(Instructor picks what they want to teach each semester)Goth fiction this semester and were reading Bram Stokers 'Dracula' which will be so awesome as well as The Haunting by Shirley Jackson. Love Y'all Erin

Yes, I know Kenyon, however, I have read her as Kinley MacGregor. I like her books as well. However, KMM's books keep me turning the pages a bit faster. I'm a huge fan of Diana Gabaldon's. Like KMM with Darkfever, there is a more evolved story that can't be told in one book. I am still working on the MacCallister (sp?) series (Kinley MacGregor) and the other series about the men from Outremer, but living in Sweden keeps me from getting the books easily and as cheaply as they are in the U.S. I have to say that I love the twists and turns of DF. It was more unpredictable than other romance/fantasy books I have read. I enjoyed the sexual tension between JB and Mac, and am enjoying the anticipation of if and when they get together.

[> Hi, Erin! I love Sherrilyn Kenyon! She has Dream Hunter coming out in Feb and I love that I will be reading my fav authors until Bloodfever gets here. Helps take the edge off the waiting. Pamela Clare is another good author. She does suspense romance and historicals that are very hot! -- Debbie H (no icon at the library), 11:46:48 01/19/07 Fri [1]

Girl, never feel like you are butting in! I love hearing others choices of books. I agree, Wren was HOT!! Things are tingling just thinking about those love scenes. I just didn't think it appropriate to discuss the books without going inside.

[> Kudos on the Dracula! I'm taking a bit of gothic lit this semester, too, and we'll be reading that later on. Good luck on getting all your readings done and I hope you're able to survive the book wait! -- Annaline, 08:44:03 01/22/07 Mon [1]
