 I am in my early 20s and in college now but when I was home I did a lot of babysitting for the kids in the neighborhood. By far my favorite jobs were the ones where I was allowed to smoke. In fact there was one mom who I started sitting for when I was 13 with two rambunctious boys who taught me how to smoke. I had taken a few puffs with some friends but she showed me how to do it right. I think it not only helped me with the stress of keeping her little boys in line but I think her boys and other kids I babysat saw me as more of an authority figure when they saw me smoking a cigarette. I got far more cooperation on jobs where I could smoke than on ones where I couldn't.

Do any of you babysit and have you noticed the same thing?
