This photo was published on 20th July, one day after the final night. Miss Peru, Gladys Zender (centre) was crowned as Miss Universe 1957 and she is with the other contestants who were in the top 5. From left to right, Miss Cuba, Rosa Gamio (3th runner-up); Miss England, Sonia Hamilton (2nd runner-up); Miss Universe 1957; Miss Brazil, Terezinha Morango (1st runner-up); and Miss Germany, Gerti Daub (4th runner-up).
