Luxembourg’s out Prime Minister has revealed that he will marry his partner “soon”, after his country passed a same-sex marriage law.
Luxembourg became the first country to have an out Prime Minister and an out Deputy Prime Minister at the same time last year, when Prime Minister Xavier Bettel came to power.
The country’s parliament passed an equal marriage bill in June by a vote of 56-4, with marriages are expected to start before 2015.
Mr Bettel revealed to the LA Times today that he will “soon” marry his partner Gauthier Destenay, who he is already in a civil partnership with.
Mr Bettel said: “He asked me, and I said yes. I can’t give you the date, because it’s not official yet.”
He added: “I have just one life, and I don’t want to hide my life.
“But I was not the ‘gay candidate.’ People didn’t vote for me because I’m gay or I’m straight.
“I think in Europe, what is important is people respect private choices as long as you are honest.”
Former Icelandic Prime Minsiter Jóhanna Sigurðardóttir previously became the first head of government to enter a same-sex marriage while in office, in 2010.
Sam says that being declared Mister World Philippines 2015 was a nice suprise. "I'm trying to be as fit as possible, and I am already watching videos of past Mister World competitions," he tells Yahoo Philippines.
Sam grew up in Iran. His family moved to the Philippines and lived in Laguna when he was 14. Today, Sam is 24 years old.
Sam attended college at the University of the East Manila. He took up Information Technology. He also took up his Master's Degree in Information Management at the same school. All he needs to do to get his degree is his thesis.
Sam began modeling when he was 19 years old but decided to focus on his studies. He went into it more seriously when he was 21. Sam is naturally shy and quiet, unlike most of his peers. He doesn't see himself joining a reality show at any point in the future.
How does he feel about being half-naked in almost all his photos?
"I'm pretty much used to it. That has been my peg since 2012," Sam says, smiling. "It only makes me work on my body more."

Dennis said he's about to walk the runway without shirt and pants on at the upcoming "Bench: The Naked Truth" fashion show—a move, he said, would be his "most daring" stint to date.
"Ginagawa ko naman ‘yun (walking without clothes on) minsan e 'pag mag-isa ko, pero syempre iba pa rin 'yun sa napakaraming tao. Pero exciting. Marami rin naman kami e. So kailangan paghandaan talaga dahil recorded 'yun."
Although he's seen half-naked in previous shows, the hunky actor said the underwear show would be the first time he's showing off his bulge in a public venue like Mall of Asia Arena.
"Sana (ito na 'yung pinaka-sexy). Ito na yung pinaka-sagad e, kumbaga eto na 'yung rurok ng lahat ng pinaghahandaan mo e." (source: Yahoo Celebrity Phil.)
