This photo was published on 24th July 1959, the day of the final night. These three girls who will compete tonight with girls from other foreign countries in the preliminary judging for the Miss Universe 1959 title wish each other luck. The girls are from left, Miss Argentina, Liana Cortijo; Miss U.S.A., Terry Lynn Huntingdon and Miss Peru, Guadalupe Mariátegui Hawkins.
