This is the figure chart used by Vincent Trotta and eight other judges to guide them this week in picking Miss Universe 1959 at Long Beach, California. The first six show figure flaws; the seventh is a perfectly proportioned figure. These defects are depicted in the first six figures that cause contestants to lose points: 1. Shoulders too wide. 2. Shoulders too sloping. 3. Hips too wide. 4. Shoulder bones too pronounced. 5. Shoulders and back hunched. 6. Legs irregular, with spaces between them at calves, knees and thighs. Number 7 is the form divine that needs only a beautiful face to be a powerful contender.
