This photo was published on 16th October, three days before the final night. Miss Egypt, Marina Papaelia, today donned her scantiest bikini, ambled into a smoke-filled nightclub, and was hustled away by scandalized management before press photographers could get her in focus. Then changed to something more substantial before again joining 14 other international beauties. Miss Holland (Netherlands), Yvonne Meyer, was ill with flu. Most composed of the girls today was the Miss U.S.A., Mary Griffin, 23, a Los Angeles model who appeared in a dazzling white swimsuit.
