For me the path to understanding can take all forms - there is no definite method - if you're on the spiritual path, then anything, even the most unexpected thing, can take you further on that path as long as you're not so desperately wanting to believe in something that you latch on to the first thing that seems true.

I never would have thought that reading a prophecy would trigger an enlightenment experience - so while the experience was internal, it was triggered from something on the outside.

Now you may not believe I had the experience I claim to have had, but I at least know I did and so it affects my path greatly. I used to think the only worthwhile path (if there was a path at all) was meditation.

However, I now realize that certain path so I use the tools at my disposal, namely reading and listening to others - BUT - I don't "believe" anything, not even these guys.

I simply take it all in, which is how I've always operated. I never believe, but personally I do enjoy entertaining these ideas.

And in defense of these guys, they aren't telling anyone to believe them - if you listen to them (the entire broadcast) I think you might have a different opinion of their motives. I am sure they're sincere - but that doesn't mean they're correct. All I am saying is that the things they are predicting are very close to what I have also been expecting (and it's pretty far out stuff)

also - they explain why they are so vague - the data they read is expressed as emotional streams of humanity via the Internet - and his software picks up on this chatter.

Ultimately they admit they've interpreted the data incorrectly before - but all in all they say that they have been amazed at the overall accuracy.

As I said, I for one just take it all in because I am certain that these methods are plausible - but I refrain from "believing" any single claim or idea

I think ideas and even books can lead to understanding and enlightenment - but the ideas themselves are never complete truth and should never, ever, be "believed" - truth is never found in a belief IMHO
