You should fill out the form even if you are not ordering pictures. This form is a release as well, and if you decide later that you want your pics/video I will already have the release. You will receive disks in the mail of stage photos of your child from every event, including crowning and a video of the ENTIRE pageant, including crowning. It's called the China Village Buffet. The address is 206 W. Camp St. East Peoria, IL phone number is 309-698-1888 It's $11 per person, children are charged by the year. I believe it is .65 per year. This is to update and remind you of a few things about our system. Please be sure you read all rules at some point before you attend the pageant. They are posted on the web site under the "STATE" pageant link. I will also have a copy with me at the pageant printed on May 28, 2009. If any changes are made after this date it will only be to ADD TITLES, SPLIT DIVISONS, OR GUARANTEE BONDS. NO ONE aside from Staff and myself are to approach the judges before, during or after competition. Anyone seen speaking to judges will be disqualified. My advice is if you see a judge outside of the ballroom, turn and go the other way. I will not tolerate anyone interferring with the integrity of our pageant. Rest assured, if anyone sees you talking to a judge it will be reported. Please remember you have time limit for your on stage events. You will be called off by the emcee when your time is up. The only custom music allowed will be for talent, outfit of choice and r/w/b. Beauty will consist of slow ballad music, while every other event will have upbeat pop style music. If you have custom music for these events they must be marked with child�s name, contestant number, event and track number and must be given to me at registration. No exceptions!! Do not approach the dj with your music. In the event of any ties, the beauty score will be used to break the tie, then highest optionals. All ties will be broken. 0-2 must have a chaperone on stage at all times. Anyone over the age of two has the option of a chaperone on stage. Although not required, it is allowed. You must present your fees off certificate at registration to receive your discount. I have no record of who won what fees off. Each pageant was given different discounts according to what it cost to enter that prelim. BRING THIS CERTIFICATE WITH YOU, or you will not qualify for reduced entry fees. Please do not email me asking me to reprint one for you. Sorry for any inconvience, but it was stated right on the certificate that you needed to present it at registration in order to get your discount. You must have a door badge to enter the ballroom. This is a must for everyone! Children under 2 and contestants are exempt from needing a door badge. Door badge is good for the entire weekend and will be needed to enter the ballroom for crowning as well. There will be someone stationed at the ballroom entrance checking door badges. If you lose yours and need to purchase another one, please see them. We will have an emcee this year. Please be ready for lineup when called. We will do our best to be on time. Anyone late to stage will still be allowed to perform, but will go at the end of the current age group and will have .3 points deducted for being late per event. No cameras or video recorders allowed in the ballroom. Anyone caught taking photos or recording the pageant will be asked to leave without refund. Anyone caught bashing Compassionate Crowns or its contestants before, during or after the pageant will have their childs title revoked. Please do not say anything you would not like to hear being said about your own daughter or son. No one will leave empty handed! Everyone will recieve a goodie bag and gift just for participating. If you have any questions, please email me, call me or find me at the pageant. While we will have helpers at the pageant, the final say resides with the director. If you're unsure, ASK. The Pekin High School Wrestling Team is having a golf outing on Sept 20 and needs volunteers to help. Whether its setting up a water station, keep track of the hole-in-one winners, or anything else needed for the day.
What a great opportunity to come out and help promote Compassionate Crowns and the PCHS Wrestling Team!!

This would be a great way to start working on Queen of Queen points for next year! Community service will be a LARGE part of the point system for this title!

Those will all be announced once deposits are in. I cant say I will split a division until there are enough deposits, BUT as soon as they are received, yes, I will post if divisions have been split. I'm not sure we are going to get enough contestants to give away the keys, but I thought maybe we could add it as kind of a jackpot? Here's what I was thinking. $10 per key, buy as many keys as you'd like. Treasure chest is filled with $500 in $1 coins. One key would open the chest and the person who holds that key would win the $500. This means everyone would have the same chance to win. Not based on scores or judges. Just the luck of picking the right key and hoping that key opens the lock. I'm not saying we will do this, it's just an idea I'm playing around with. Input? I am thinking we should do a Roman/Egyptian theme. We could award Pharaoh/Queen titles and have a toga optional. I was thinking of having it in Mattoon based on where I have other pageant scheduled. It will be the weekend of March 20-21, 2010. I need input!!! Anyone like this idea - or do you all think I'm just nuts?!?! We need crowns, tiaras, trophies, sashes or donations to purchase these items. I received an email from a lady in Cape Girardeau, MO who is a Neonatal Intensive Care nurse at St Francis Hospital. They are holding a benefit pageant for the March of Dimes in April at the West Park Shopping Mall and asked for my help. If anyone has any of these items they are willing to donate to help this lady, please email me so we can arrange pick-up / delivery. I will be at the ABP Easter Pageant and can meet anyone wanting to donate in Northern IL that weekend. I am planning to attend the pageant and help as well, so if any royalty want to attend and help with crowning, you can contact me as well. We can carpool if at all possible. Gary is my brother-in-law. He is 40 yrs old and dying of cancer. He will leave behind a wife and two children, ages 9 & 12.
They have minimal life insurance and have had to file bankrupcy due to medical bills incurred with treatment.
Please say a prayer for our family.
