- I was a bit disappointed, too, but I was surprised that he even came back at all. I think that Pam Veasey must be a big fan of his or he wouldn't have made a second appearance. I doubt that they'd ever expand his role, however. (NT) -- Lee, 09:04:39 04/02/11 Sat
- Not disappointed, really. Definitely 'teasing' it, as David said. Loved the 3rd scene! But it is what it is; didn't expect much more screen time. Don't think this was ever meant as anything but a supporting role to 'Jo's' story. Little focus on the 'personal' in this procedural. More like three & a half min, Nancy! Hunk of the Month 3/31: David's final total was 9142 votes. As far as I know, that's the highest total he's ever had. However, the winner had a total of 10,322 votes, so he ended up 1180 votes ahead of David. Our votes since the last update were great! David had 1927 votes to the winner's 1876 votes, but he was too far ahead for David to catch him. If we start out strong and don't forget to vote every day, David can win for next month. LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- "Truth Be Told," an original movie starring Candace Cameron Bure, David James Elliott and Ronny Cox, will premiere Saturday, April 16 on FOX, network sources have confirmed to the site exclusively.

The project revolves around Annie Morgan (Bure), a marriage counselor who - fearing her single status will ruin her chance at a dream job hosting a radio advice program - conspires with an old college friend (Elliott), a recent widower with two teenagers, to pass as a married couple after her potential boss (Cox) invites them to spend the weekend at his New Mexico ranch.

"Told" is Walmart and Procter & Gamble's fifth "Family Movie Night" co-production.

The celebrities will be part of the pro-am rounds on March 29 and 30 at Mission Hills Country Club. The tournament itself, the first major of the year for the LPGA, will be played March 31-April 3 at the Dinah Shore Tournament Course.

Among the celebrities, many making their first trip to the Kraft event, are rocker Alice Cooper and actors Scott Bakula, Dennis Haysbert, Richard Karn, Richard Kind, Joe Pesci, Ron Perlman, Ray Romano and Peter Weller.

No, it's not an optical illusion! LOL I was given permission by Dan Frisch to post a promo for the DVD launch of The Rainbow Tribe.       - Liz, FYI, I emailed Dan Frisch on your behalf, to ask whether the "Closed Caption" feature would be available on the DVD, and I just heard back from him. He said, unfortunately, that it is not a function that is available at this time, but he has made note of it, and hopes to be able to add that function at some point in the future, and he will announce when it is available. I can only assume he might mean adding this function to the possible second release to come at a later date, "if" indeed that happens. I'm so sorry. Wish I had better news. FYI - Candace Cameron Bure did make an appearance on "The Today Show" this morning in two separate segments, one earlier with Meredith Viera and the second with Kathie Lee Gifford & Hoda Kotb. Mainly there promoting her book. She only made mention of the new film that she's just finished shooting in the interview with Kathie Lee/Hoda, but no details or mention of David, title of film, location, etc, other than to mention Fox Family and sponsorships by Wal-Mart and Proctor & Gamble. Fresh off his January 7 appearance on CSI: NY, beloved JAG alum David James Elliott has already booked a return visit, TVLine has learned.

Earlier this month, DJE guested on CBS�s hit Friday-night procedural as Russ Josephson, the FBI agent ex-husband of Sela Ward�s Detective Jo Danville. The first time around, the former marrieds compared notes on a cross-jurisdictional case, and we definitely saw sparks hinting at lingering feelings �tween the two.

For his encore, which is slated to air in April, Russ returns to support Jo through a difficult family situation � as well as aid Mac with an ongoing murder investigation.

In addition to his work as �Harm� Rabb on NCIS birthplace JAG, Elliott�s TV credits include Street Legal, Close to Home and, most recently, the ABC summer sudser Scoundrels.

"Truth Be Told" stars Candace Cameron Bure and David James Elliott

New Mexico is going to be the setting for another made-for-TV movie.

Fox Broadcasting Company announced it is shooting "Truth Be Told" in New Mexico. The movie stars Candace Cameron Bure and David James Elliott.

Cameron Bure is known for playing D.J. Tanner in "Full House." Elliott is best known as Commander Harmon 'Harm' Rabb Jr. in "JAG" and last appeared as Wolfgang "Wolf" West in "Scoundrels," which also was filmed in New Mexico.

The crew has begun filming in locations in Santa Fe, Pojoaque, Santa Clara Pueblo and Albuquerque. Filming will conclude on Jan. 28.

"The production team is expected to hire approximately 150 New Mexicans for the cast and crew," said Angela Heisel, spokeswoman for the state's Economic Development Department said.

The plot focuses on marriage counselor, Annie Morgan, played by Cameron Bure, who believes honesty and love are the keys to successful long-term relationships.

Ironically, Annie has never been married and doesn't always follow her own advice.

When an opportunity arises to discuss hosting a talk show with media mogul Alexander Bishop, played by Ronnie Cox, Annie jumps at the chance.

Through a misunderstanding, she receives an invitation for she and her spouse to join Bishop at his New Mexico ranch. Fearful that being single will wreck her big chance, Annie conspires with Mark Crane, played by Elliott, an old college friend who is a retired professional football player and recent widower, to pose as a married couple with their teenage kids for the weekend.

A weekend filled with a series of comical misunderstandings leaves Annie emotionally involved with Mark and his two teenagers and battling with her own conscience.

The script for "Truth Be Told" is written by Alan Marc Levy and directed by Jonathan Frakes, who directed "NCIS: Los Angeles."

RMG client DAVID JAMES ELLIOTT has just started production on the TV movie, TRUTH BE TOLD for FBC. The project, which is being independently financed by Proctor & Gamble and Walmart, is a family friendly character piece directed by Jonathan Frakes. David is starring in the lead role of Mark Crane.
