  I know that most of us discovered David through his portrayal of Harm - and that's good. It was a wonderful, one in a lifetime role for David, and it's given him the freedom to do things that he *wants* to do, not that he *has* to do to feed his family.
  
  I'll always love the character of Harm, but I can also see David in other roles, such as Knights, or Impact, or the upcoming Storm.
  
  He seems to be having fun - and happy - and that's what matters. While I would love to see him on weekly TV again, I'm aware that the chances of that are slim these days.
  
  And as for his teaming up with CB to do anything - from my perspective, that would be a mistake - for both of them.

  • David's been in the business for a long time, and I'm sure he knows what he's doing. He reads a script and makes a judgment based on that and other factors, but that doesn't mean they're all going to be winners. I can't imagine him saying, "This one looks like a stinker, I'll do it!"       • I hope you don't think that I'm singling you out, mj. In fact, I have rushed to judgment on occasion myself, most notably with Love Sick. But then I realized how silly it was to react without giving it a chance. I found that prejudging the outcome ruins the enjoyment that I might have otherwise found if I hadn't closed my mind off to what it could be. I think that David is wise to branch out after 10 years of JAG and just let loose, try whatever he wants, and he can afford to do that, so why not. I'm betting this is a learning curve for him also, after being safe and snug in a hit TV show for 10 years. It's good to see him work outside his comfort zone, and hopefully he'll find his niche.   • I really looking forward to see the movie The Rainbow Tribe in theaters or dvd soon that I really want to see it. As for KOB, I dislike being so dirty, too much warriors, the words were not clarifying right, etc. I'm not a sci fan. I love what David was acting is so wonderful that he does a wonderful job for an actor. I am hoping he will get another project like Christian family and romatically being really serious actions.   • Okay, get out the tomatoes. I can see David in other roles besides Harm. Infact, I loved him as James Dobson, Terry Evanshen and James Conlon to name a few. I think that he gave excellent performance in all three of these, but I'm sorry to say that I didn't care for his performance in Knights. The lack of a consistant accent is one thing for which I blame the director as well as the darkness of some scenes, which were difficult to see. I also felt that the script was very weak in some areas and that the storyline was hard to follow in others. The end left me confused because it didn't seem like the end. It feels like there should be a sequel to tie up some things, like what happened to Dragon Eye's son. Maybe when it was written, they were hoping that it would become a series and that's why it ended as it did. Nevertheless, we've all seen great performances from David, and I, for one, thought that his performance in this was mediorcre at best. Inside - -- Lee, 15:08:40 04/23/09 Thu
    • No tomatoes from me, Lee. They shot the movie in 33 days and I think it resulted in a great lack of continuity throughout. That The Rainbow Tribe was also shot in a short period of time and made a wonderful movie shows it can be done. The director of Knights letting the accents go like that wasn't very professional in my opinion. I agree that it wasn't David's best performance but I still found it entertaining depite everything.   • I enjoyed KOBS. It wasn't my favorite part for him, but I do think that he did a good job. I think a lot of people were thrown off by it because we are used to seeing David in good light and a clean cut look. You're probably right that it seemed unfinished because it was supposed to be a back door pilot. I enjoy him in many different types of movies and love when he plays the hero. Isn't that what got us all annoyed with the reviews of Gooby?? that some people did a review of the movie based solely on the trailer, and hadn't even seen the full movie yet? If all of us based our need to watch something based solely on other people's opinion, then most of us would not have watched JAG in the first place........and then just think of what you would have missed out on.   • DJE looks better than he ever did. So does NC -- she is such a natural beauty -- she really looks refreshingly unique in an industry and place where they live where all the women start to look alike -- ie -- the anorexic 'joker' look with blobs of bleached blond or dark-dyed hair and fake boobs. NC looks fit, healthy, and svelte and is just so pretty and she's got impeccable style AND you can tell by the look in her eyes that she's smart -- I really think she's great! Anyway, it was okay (Oh, David does a wonderful job with acting) but the words were not clarifying right and doesn't make any senses of others. I've lived in Scotland for a few years and can do a pretty mean Scottish accent and also can tell you that even the Scots, themselves, dip in and out of strong to medium accents depending on who they're talking to. The Aberdonian accent was INDECIPHERABLE -- real Highlanders!!! In Edinburgh, I could get around quite well.   • Well at least there are more people seeing the movie now than when Carol C and I went to the original premiere in Hollywood. There were only 6 of us in the theater at that time.
