My daughter attend Pat Gray for one year, & was a member of the Meridian Elite allstar team. Everyone there was totally aware of the two girls that were overage competing on the senior team (ages 10 to 18). We were always told that "the competition producers gave us permission to have these overage girls to compete because of 'injuries' to other teammates." -- and there were no injured teammates these girls were replacing. I couldn't believe that all of these people KNEW that we were cheating, and didn't bat an eye lash to it. We got the heck out of there as soon as the season was over!

If a squad is supposed to compete 11-17, nobody on the squad can be over the age of 17. The irony is that when they hold auditions every year, they specify that you have to be under 17 to audition. But I'm sure Holly and the other mentioned cheerleader will continue to compete. It's sad they have to do that to win. I guess it does go to show they really aren't as good as they used to be when they were honest.
