I was at the pageant and saw a lot of potential in a lot of young ladies. Like Maggie Shoultz, Katrena Rayner, Jordan Parker. A lot of these girls have put a lot of time in to their talent and formats to get where they are at. A lot of those girls there last night were not there just for the crown, they need scholarships and they have a story to get out. I agree on some of the comments from before. There were girls that got alternate that should have won.

I am not sure what exactly you have against Amanda Alman. However, I have known her for years and she has always been one the nicest people to me. My daughter no longer competes but Amanda was always encouraging, supportive and genuinely cared for my child. Even now years after being a title holder they still talk and visit when she comes home. I was in the audience Saturday and I must say that was the BEST prelim I have been to all in years…it started on time and flowed great all night. There were 20 contestants (10 teen and 10 miss) and that’s one of the largest I have been to in a LONG time. The audience was full and the contestants overall were great…I am glad she was able to bring new girls into the Miss & Teen Programs. These girls are lucky to have her as their director.

Evidently Amanda has you fooled. I think that people have known what Amanda is like and that her past behavior and actions are finally catching up with her. The truth does eventually come to light and the true light of Amanda is now showing. My daughter was one of Amanda's teen contestants and I can assure you she did nothing to help her prepare and was never available to assist in preparing for the state competition. In fact we saw more of Amanda at the state competition in Vicksburg then we did from the time she was crowned till the state competition. At the state competition she put on a fantastic show so that all would think she actually did help my daughter. Amanda is fake.

This is ridiculous. What exactly is your point with all of the Amanda bashing? She has had the most successful prelim of the season thus far. She has her winners. What good does it do you to talk about her this way? It serves no purpose except to satisfy your own sense of cruelty. Bet it wouldn't feel so good if it were directed at you, would it. Get over it, already.

Just for the record.... Amanda is the biggest fake there is. I am sure of her formers will say she is the greatest thing ever but they are few and far between. Unless you were her little "pet" she won't give you the time of day until she is trying to impress someone. I have talked to numerous former titleholders who felt neglected by her.

Pulling a few contestants for a pageant doesn't make a person a great director. It's what you do after the pageant to help (ALL OF) your girls prepare for their state pageant and the support you provide them that constitute a great director.
